Privacy policy

This explains what we collect on thedeckroom.in, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we need to send you a deck.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, mobile number and delivery address, and what you bought.
• When you join the waitlist: your email and the deck you picked.
• Payment: Razorpay processes your payment. We receive a payment reference and status, never your card, UPI or bank details.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we use it

• To take payment, ship your order and send you tracking updates.
• To reply when you contact us, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To issue GST invoices and keep the records tax law requires.
• Waitlist emails are used only to tell you when your deck is available.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make an order work:

• Razorpay, to process payment.
• Shiprocket and its courier partners, who need your name, phone and address to deliver.
• Vercel (website hosting), Neon (our order database) and Google Sheets (the waitlist), which store data on our behalf.

We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as GST law requires (currently about six years). Waitlist emails are deleted once you ask us to, or once the deck you signed up for has launched and we’ve told you.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased where we’re not required to keep it. Email a4gowda@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 30 days.
